1. It’s the Longest and Fastest Tubing Hill in Tennessee
Coming in at 500 feet in length with a 70-foot drop that reaches speeds of 35 mph, our Tubing Hill is the longest and fastest in Tennessee! If you have a need for speed and want that adrenaline rush, this is the perfect activity for you. As your speed increases down the hill, you may catch air as you hit the drop! If you’re spinning, not knowing when the drop is coming can be equally exciting.
2. You Can Ride with Your Friends
If you’d rather not go by yourself, you can connect to one or two other friends and caravan down the hill together! This will be an unforgettable experience with your friends or family members so make sure someone is at the bottom of the hill waiting to get a good picture of you all! Once you get the hang of it and want to try by yourself, pick a lane and race your friends down the hill. Last one to the bottom buys ice cream!
3. The Top Has Great Views
When you arrive at the top of the Tubing Hill, you’ll be met with a beautiful view of the Smoky Mountains! When you visit during the fall months, you’ll be able to see the gorgeous Autumn colors of the Smokies. Rain, sleet, snow or sunshine, the Outdoor Tubing Hill at Rowdy Bear Ridge is always open! You don’t have to worry about a little rain shower ruining your fun, and if you don’t mind the cold, you can come tube in the snow too! Whether you choose to come in the summer when the hill mists you with water on your way down, or you bundle up in December and try your hand at snow tubing, you’re guaranteed to have a blast.
5. There is No Climbing Involved
If you’re worried about reaching the top of the Tubing Hill, don’t be! Grab your favorite colored tube and head to the magic carpet conveyor that we have on site. This conveyor will take you and your group all the way to the top, so you don’t have to worry about making the trek up the hill every time you want to tube!
