One of the most anticipated activities in the Smoky Mountains during winter is snow tubing! We are the only outdoor attraction that offers snow tubing in Pigeon Forge, and your whole crew will have a blast visiting us! Want to know more about winter tubing with us? Check out these 5 fun facts about our Pigeon Forge snow tubing hill:
1. We add 8 snow tubing lanes in winter.
At our Pigeon Forge attraction, you will find 11 tubing lanes. That’s the most of any tubing attraction in the Smoky Mountains! But that’s not the only cool fact about us. When the weather cools off in the late fall and early winter, we add snow to 8 of the tubing lanes! People come from all over the place to join us and have fun flying down the hill on these snowy lanes!
2. We offer 3 summer tubing lanes year round.
As we previously mentioned, we have 11 tubing lanes, and 8 of them are covered in snow during winter. But what about the other 3? We actually keep these lanes as summer tubing lanes throughout the year! There may be someone who doesn’t want to slide down in their tube on the snowy lanes, so we provide them with a way to still enjoy Pigeon Forge snow tubing with us without missing out on all of the fun!
3. We added 2 Magic Carpet Conveyors.
If you’ve never visited us before, you may be wondering how you get to the top of the hill. Luckily you won’t have to climb to the top on foot! At the bottom of our tubing hill, you’ll grab a tube and then climb aboard our Magic Carpet Conveyor belt that takes you to the top. Since our snow tubing is so popular, we actually added a second Magic Carpet Conveyor to get people to the top even faster so you can really maximize your time with us and ride as many times as you can!
4. We are home to the longest outdoor tubing hill in Tennessee.
While we aren’t the only Pigeon Forge snow tubing attraction in the area, we are pretty unique when it comes to tubing attractions! In the entire state of Tennessee, our tubing hill is the longest! While you may not be able to tell through our photos, our lanes are over 500 feet long, and the drop is around 70 feet. But don’t let the length intimidate you! Once you fly down the hill in your tube, you’ll want to go again and again!
5. Our tubing hill is canopied.
Another cool fact about our snow tubing hill is that it’s canopied! An enhanced sound and light experience is coming soon, so you don’t want to miss out flying through the canopy. You won’t find this feature anywhere else in the Smoky Mountains!
