Our Pigeon Forge amusement park is an attraction you won’t want to miss out on the next time you’re in town! You probably have spotted our tubing lane and unique coaster, but you may not know much about us. That’s why we want to share some unique facts all about us that we think you should know! Here are 7 things you probably didn’t know about Rowdy Bear’s Smoky Mountain Snowpark:
1. Our tubing lanes are over 500 feet long.
We have the longest tubing lanes of any tubing attraction in the area. They are 500 feet long, providing visitors with an extended experience of tubing in Pigeon Forge! But don’t worry; you don’t have to trudge up the hill yourself! To get to the top of our hill, you’ll hop aboard the Magic Carpet conveyor belt!
2. The drop on our hill is 70 feet.
Not only do we have the longest tubing hills, we also have a pretty significant drop at 70 feet! Your heart will pound as you hit the drop in your tube, and you’ll want to experience that moment again and again!
3. You can connect tubes and slide down the lanes.
Something else you probably don’t know about our Pigeon Forge amusement park is that you can actually ride together on our tubing hill! No, you aren’t able to hold children in your lap in a single tube. But if all riders are of age and height requirements, you can connect your tubes together with our special straps and fly down the hill together for even more fun!
4. Guests must be at least 10 to throw axes.
You probably do know that we offer axe throwing in Pigeon Forge, but you may not know that we do have an age requirement. All of our guests that want to experience axe throwing must be at least 10 years old. This requirement is in place for the utmost safety of our guests and staff members.
5. There is a weight limit on our Ski Lift Shootout Coaster.
One of our thrilling attractions you won’t want to miss trying is the Ski Lift Shootout Coaster. You’ll hop aboard the chair lift seat that holds 2 people, and as you make your way along the track, you’ll use the laser gun to hit targets and gain points. At the end of the ride, you’ll see who won by getting the most points. We do have a weight limit on this attraction, and it is 350 pounds for both people combined.
6. We have a playground for young kids.
Something we don’t talk about often is that we do have a playground for young kids who can’t experience our other rides, or for the older kids who still have energy to burn off! With a slide and plenty of other unique obstacles, your kids will have a blast experiencing the playground at our Pigeon Forge amusement park!
7. You’ll find snacks and souvenirs in our ticket office.
Something else you may not know about us is that we have a cafe and creamery inside the ticket office where you can fuel up after playing. Grab a scoop of ice cream, a savory snack, or a cup of coffee or hot chocolate to warm you up. There’s also Rowdy Bear themed souvenirs you may want to take back home!
